Audiences

Who it is for: dating by stage of life

Not everybody arrives at the same place for the same reason. A twenty-two year old and a divorced parent of forty-two have two entirely different problems, and two different answers.

Why this is organised by audience, not by feature

It is easy to write a page for every feature in a product, and it usually helps nobody. Somebody looking for a dating service does not ask "which feature do I need", they ask "is this for somebody like me".

So the pages here are organised by who you are rather than by what is in the app. The same features appear in all of them; what changes is the explanation of why they matter to you specifically.

And what they all share

Three things recur on every page here, because they genuinely matter to every audience: nobody can message you without your approval, your exact location is never revealed, and there is no monthly subscription.

What changes between audiences is which of the three matters most. For anybody suffering message flooding, the first is critical. For anybody living somewhere small, the second. And for anybody on a tight budget, the third.

The app is almost here. Want to know when?
