Bought once
A credit pack is a single purchase and never renews by itself.
No subscription
A subscription is a model that suits whoever collects it. It keeps running in the months you never opened the app, it renews without reminding you, and what it commits to is time rather than any outcome. We chose something else.
Think for a moment about what a monthly dating subscription actually buys. It buys access for a month. If that month was busy, if you travelled, if you simply did not have the head for it, you paid for nothing.
And there is something stranger still. If the app did its job and you met somebody, you cancel. Which means the product succeeding is the company losing. That is not a model that pushes anybody to improve the matching.
You buy a pack once through the app store, in your own currency, and use it at your own pace. Credits do not expire.
Sending a contact request costs one credit from the sender. A mutual acceptance that opens a chat costs one credit from each side. After the chat is open, messages are unlimited and free. A calling pass for the pair costs one credit and lasts a week, covering voice and video together. Joining a WinMe competition costs one credit; hosting one costs two.
At any moment you can open the transaction history and see exactly where every credit went, described in words rather than in an internal code.
There is no queue that opens for payment, no hidden ranking that pushes you down for not paying, and no feature that appears on screen purely to be locked behind a charge. The boost is the only thing that moves your position in a list, and it says so plainly.
There is also nothing that renews. Nothing to cancel, and so nobody to phone in order to cancel it.
A credit pack is a single purchase and never renews by itself.
Once a chat is open the messages are unlimited at no further cost.
Every credit movement is recorded and explained in words, not in a code.
The download is free. Credit packs are sold through the app store at the price shown at purchase, in your own currency. Nothing has to be paid to open an account, complete a profile and see who is nearby.
No. They stay in your account until you use them. There is no expiry and no monthly deduction.
Purchases go through Google Play or the App Store and their refund policies apply. Under Israeli consumer law a distance purchase may also be cancelled within 14 days, provided no credits have been used.
Unused credits are deleted and are not refunded in money. It is worth spending them before deleting.
TOKME is in the final stages of store review. Leave an email address and you will be among the first to know on launch day, with a free credit pack for early sign-ups.
The address is used for the launch notice and nothing else. We will not pass it on, and you can leave the list at any time.
