Terms of Use

This is an English translation provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the Hebrew version prevails.
1. Minimum age
TOKME may be used only by people aged 18 and over. Opening an account is a declaration that you are at least 18. A minor's account will be deleted without notice.
2. How credits work
There is no monthly subscription. Actions in the app are priced in credits, purchased in packs through the app store at the price shown at purchase time, in your local currency.
| Action | Cost |
|---|---|
| Sending an intro request | One credit from the sender |
| Mutual accept and chat opening | One credit from each side |
| Messages after the chat opens | Free, unlimited |
| Call pass (voice/video) for a pair | One credit — valid for one week |
| Joining a WinMe competition | One credit from the contestant |
| Opening a WinMe competition (host) | Two credits from the host |
| Boost (jump to the top of the list) | As shown in the app at activation |
The intro-request credit is charged when the request is sent and is not returned — even if the other side declines or never replies. You pay for the approach, not the outcome. The second credit is charged only at the moment a chat actually opens. If a WinMe competition is cancelled before it starts, the credits are refunded.
Credits are a license to use features inside the app only. They are not money, cannot be transferred between users, cannot be redeemed for cash, and have no validity outside the service.
3. Payments, cancellation and refunds
Purchases are made through Google Play or the Apple App Store, and their refund policies apply. Under Israel's Consumer Protection Law 5741-1981, a distance-selling transaction may be cancelled within 14 days of purchase — provided no credits have been used. Once even one credit has been spent, the balance is non-refundable. Inquiries: nisim@tokme.me.
4. Mutual consent before communication
You cannot message a user who has not approved it. Every approach starts with an intro request and an opening line; the recipient chooses to accept, decline, or decline and block. Blocking is final: a blocked user can never contact you again and will not appear in your search. You can block after a conversation has opened too.
5. Rules of conduct
The following are strictly forbidden:
- Harassment, threats, incitement, racism, or harming another user
- Uploading sexually explicit, violent or shocking content — in your profile, chats, calls or competition answers
- Impersonating another person or using photos that are not yours
- Advertising, marketing, fundraising or referring to commercial services
- Solicitation of prostitution or any illegal activity
- Harvesting data about users, using bots, or attempting to bypass the credit system
- Attempting to locate another user's exact position
Breaking these rules may lead to content removal, suspension, or permanent account closure — with no credit refund.
Automatic content screening. Every profile photo and every piece of media submitted in a competition is checked automatically before it is stored. Content identified as nudity or sexual is rejected and never stored — it is never shown to another user. Three such rejections lead to account suspension. Any suspicion of content involving a minor leads to immediate suspension, on the first occurrence, with no warning ladder. See also our child safety policy (Hebrew).
Automatic screening is not perfect. Next to the ⋯ button in every profile, chat and call there is a report option, and every report is reviewed by a person.
6. The WinMe competition
- A host opens a competition and sets the challenges, entry conditions and schedule. Joining is subject to the entry conditions the host defined (age, distance, height and so on).
- Until the finale, contestants are displayed anonymously — no name and no profile photo. Profiles are revealed only at the final stage.
- The host may expel a contestant who breaks the rules. Expulsion for rule-breaking does not entitle the contestant to a credit refund.
- The final rose, the match and what follows are always the free choice of both sides — nobody is ever obligated to a match.
- If a competition is cancelled before it starts, all contestants and the host are refunded the credits they paid for it.
7. Meeting safely
We do not run criminal background checks or verify users' identities. People may present untrue information. It is your responsibility to be careful: meet for the first time in a public place, tell someone close where you are going, and never give financial details to anyone. In an emergency, call your local police.
8. Your content
The content you upload remains yours. You grant us a limited license to display it inside the service, solely for operating it — including showing competition answers to participants of that competition. The license ends when the content or the account is deleted.
9. Availability and limitation of liability
The service is provided as-is. We do not guarantee continuous availability, that you will find a match, or that any user will answer your approach. We are not liable for damage arising from a meeting or relationship with another user. In any event, our total financial liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event.
10. Termination
You can delete your account at any time via the account deletion page or from the profile screen in the app. We may close an account that violates these terms.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the competent courts of the Tel Aviv district.
