Private mode
See without being seen. One switch, no deletion needed.

Everything on this site about privacy is true for everybody. For some people it is comfort, and for some it is a condition of using anything at all. This page is about the second.
For anybody not out at work, in their family, or in the town they live in, a dating profile is not only a profile. It is information they chose not to share, in a place where they do not control who sees it.
In a country where social circles cross constantly, that is a practical consideration rather than a theoretical one. And in a small town, an exact distance and an exact bearing are enough to point at a building.
So the three mechanisms that appear everywhere on this site matter here several times over, not as an addition but as a condition.
Private mode: one switch that takes you off everybody’s radar. You keep browsing and approaching, and nobody sees you. This is the most important mechanism for anybody who does not want to appear in a list seen by people they know.
A photograph revealed on condition: you can set your photograph to be shown only after a mutual match. Until then the profile exists without the face.
Blurred location: your position snaps to a fixed grid of about 150 metres before any distance is computed, and bearings are rounded to 15 degree segments. The snap is fixed, so repeated readings cannot be averaged to sharpen it. Raw coordinates are never sent to any user.
Nobody can send you a message without your approval. Every approach starts as one request with an opening line, and you decide.
A block hides both sides from each other permanently, search included, and works after a conversation has opened. Reporting blocks immediately, before anybody on the team has opened it.
The terms of use explicitly prohibit harassment, threats, incitement and racism, and every report is read by a person. That does not solve everything, and we do not claim it does, but it means there is somebody to tell and the report reaches them.

Your face is revealed only once both sides chose it.
Snapped location and rounded bearings, even in a small town.
Yes. Private mode takes you off everybody’s radar while you keep browsing and approaching. Blocking removes a specific person permanently, search included.
Yes. You can set it to be revealed only after a mutual match. In a masked date both sides are hidden anyway, and the mask lifts only if you both choose it.
No. Your position snaps to a grid of about 150 metres before any calculation and bearings are rounded, and the snap is fixed, so readings cannot be accumulated and sharpened. Raw coordinates are never sent.
Reporting blocks that person from you immediately, before any review, and the report reaches the team and is read by a person. The terms prohibit harassment, threats and incitement, and breaking them can lead to suspension or permanent closure.
TOKME is in the final stages of store review. Leave an email address and you will be among the first to know on launch day, with a free credit pack for early sign-ups.
The address is used for the launch notice and nothing else. We will not pass it on, and you can leave the list at any time.
